Truck & Tractor Pull

The Truck & Tractor Pull staging area is also open to the public.  On Friday, from 3 pm-6 pm Kids Truck & Treat, kids can meet the drivers and get treats from participating trucks.

New for this year is the Qualifying Pedal Pull in one of the 4H buildings for the youngsters.

The Truck Show and the vendor fair are FREE and open from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm. The Truck & Tractor Pull staging area is also open to the public.

New this year is the Truck Show beauty contest. The Truck Show judging will include People’s Choice. As you walk around with your ballot, vote for your favorites in each Truck Class.

There will be lots of food and drink to choose from. From steaks, burgers, brisket,  pizza, wraps, corndogs, biscuits & gravy, walking tacos, and pulled pork with all the sides to ice cream, funnel cakes, slushies, popcorn, snow cones, and root beer floats. See our list of food vendors

Clarke County Fairgrounds will also be serving alcohol during the events!

Osceola Independence Day Celebration

Osceola Independence Day is the largest 4th of July Celebration in South-Central Iowa.

Starting Friday, June 30th, and including a July 4th parade at 10 am and a talent show at 12:30 pm. The Fireworks Show will be on July 5th. Learn more from the Osceola Chamber and follow on Facebook for the latest updates.

GREEN PINE WILDLIFE AREA

8.5 Miles NE of Osceola on County Rd R50

  • 40 acres home to an amazing evergreen timber that is open to public hunting.
  • It includes a 3-acre pond stocked with bluegill, catfish, and crappie, perfect for fishing.
  • Features a picnic area at the main entrance.
  • The trails located here allow for hiking, bird watching, mushrooming, berry picking, and cross-country skiing.
