Information for Contestants
Truck & Tractor Pull
The JunctionTown Showdown Truck & Tractor Pull will take place at 6:00 pm each evening on Friday, July 4th, and Saturday, July 5th 2025.
Competitors can arrive anytime after noon on Thursday, July 3rd. We will have staff parking Pullers during the day as some areas may get congested.
If you would like to arrive earlier than Thursday noon, call ahead to make arrangements with Jesse at (641) 344-3072.
There are five classes of competitors: (Tenitive)
- Mac Trailer Hot Rod Semi’s
- Pro Modified 4WD Trucks
- 4.1 Limited Pro Stock Tractors
- 540 Light Pro Stock Tractors
- ARP Super Stock Diesel Trucks
Entry Fees
This Truck & Tractor pull is a Sanctioned Pro Pulling League event.
Truck & Tractor pull fees are all paid to the Pro Pulling League. Entry fees and rules are on the Pro Pulling League website.
Diversified Towing & Recovery in Osceola, Iowa, is the official towing supplier. They can provide mobile truck repair, towing, and transport for your semis, tractors, and trucks. Flatbed towing or hauling on a trailer can get you where you need to be. Call them at (641) 344-1510 or find them in Osceola at 1303 Southwest Blvd, Osceola, IA 50213.
Truck Show
The JunctionTown Showdown Truck Show will be on all three days of the event. Competitors must complete a registration from from 8 am to 10 am. Registration forms are available at the JunctionTown Showdown merchandise trailer all days of the event.
Judging
Judging will include People’s Choice and Trucker’s Choice.
Peoples’s Choice voting will be done with ballots provided to fans at the Truck show. Each truck will have a registration card displayed in the passenger side window of each registered truck. The fans will then be able to walk around with voting ballots and fill out the registration number on the ballots of each class they are voting for. The ballots will then be turned to the ballot box for counting at the JunctionTown Showdown merchandise trailer.
Peoples Choice classes are as follows:
- Top 5 bobtail
- Top 5 Combo
- Top 3 bobtail lights
- Top 3 combo lights
Truckers’ Choice awards are only voted on by contestants in the show! These include:
- Truckers Choice Top 3
- “Old School Kool” Only one truck to be selected.
Entry Fees
The Truck Show entry fees will be $75 for the Bob tail and $100 for combo.
With each paid entry to the truck show, the contestant will get 2 meal tickets for Friday night and Saturday night. The meal will be served from 3 pm to 4:30 pm both nights at the Fairground show barn.
Tentative Schedule
THURSDAY, July 3rd
Competitors can arrive anytime after noon on Thursday, June 27. We will have staff parking both Pullers and Show trucks during the day as some areas may get congested.

FRIDAY, July 4th
- Roll In, park, and display any time after 8:00 am. Food vendors setting up after 1 pm.
- Open to public 3 pm-11 pm.
- 3 pm-6 pm Kids Truck & Treat, kids meet the drivers and get treats from participating trucks. Driver participation highly encouraged!! Kids enjoyed this last year, and we really encourage drivers to bring
candy for this event!!! - Non-judged light show at dark (Participation highly encouraged!).
SATURDAY, July 5
- Registration begins at 10 am until 6 pm.
- Ballot judging starts Saturday at noon through Sunday at 11 am.
- Light show judging Saturday night through midnight.
- The judged truck light show is to begin at dusk and continue until 11 pm.
SUNDAY, July 6th
- Registration opens at 8 am until 10 am.
- Rags down at 10:30 am.
- Ballot counting starts at 11:00 am.
- Awards and presentations start approximately 12:30-1:00 pm.
