Stay for the day or come every day. There will be plenty to do and see.
The Truck Show and vendor fair are free. The Truck & Tractor Pull staging area is also open to the public. New for this year is the Qualifying Pedal Pull in one of the 4H buildings for the youngsters.
There will be lots of food and drink to choose from. From steaks, burgers, brisket, pizza, wraps, corndogs, biscuits & gravy, walking tacos, and pulled pork with all the sides to ice cream, funnel cakes, slushies, popcorn, snow cones, and root beer floats. See our list of food vendors.
Clarke County Fairgrounds will also be serving alcohol during the events!
Truck & Tractor Pull
Friday and Saturday
The Truck & Tractor Pull will be held at the Clarke County Fairgrounds on Friday, June 28th, and Saturday, June 29th.
The Truck & Tractor Pull staging area is open to the public.
The Truck & Tractor Pull is $25 admission, kids 10 years and under are free. Get tickets in advance.
We have added the Super Stock Diesel pickup class to the Pro Pulling event. We will have a total of 5 pulling classes each night at this year’s show, including the Super Stock Diesel pickups, Light Limited Pro tractors, Modified 4×4 Pickups, 4.1 Limited Pro Tractors, and the crowd favorite ground-pounding Super Semi class for the 2024 event.

The Truck Show
The Truck Show and the vendor fair are FREE and open from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm. Non-judged light show at dark. The Truck & Tractor Pull staging area is also open to the public.
New this year is the Truck Show beauty contest. The Truck Show judging will include People’s Choice. As you walk around with your ballot, vote for your favorites in each Truck Class. The ballots should be turned to the ballot box at the JunctionTown Showdown merchandise trailer.
Friday, June 28th
- Roll In, park and display any time after 8:00am Food vendors setting up after 1pm
- 3pm-12pm non judged light show at dark (Participation highly encouraged!)
- 3pm-6pm kids truck & treat; kids meet the drivers and get treats from participating trucks. Driver participation highly encouraged!! Kids enjoyed this last year, and we really encourage drivers to bring candy for this event!!!
- Pedal Pull registration 2:30-3:30 pm. Iowa State Pedal Pull Sanctioned Event. Pedal Pull from 3:30-6:00pm in the show building
- Skydiver presenting the colors at 6pm
- Pro Pulling Truck and Tractor Pull in Grandstand 6pm
- DJ and Dance following the pull. Alcohol will be served until 12:30am.
Saturday, June 29th
- Registration begins at 10am until 6pm
- Ballot judging starts Saturday at noon through Sunday at 11am. Light show judging Saturday night through midnight.
- Pedal Pull registration 2:30-3:30 pm. Iowa State Pedal Pull Sanctioned Event. Pedal Pull from 3:30-6:00pm in the show building
- Skydiver presenting the colors at 6pm
- Pro Pulling Truck and Tractor Pull in Grandstand 6pm
- DJ and Dance following the pull. Alcohol will be served until 12:30am.
Sunday, June 30th
- Registration 8am-10am
- Rags down at 10:30am
- Ballot counting starting at 11:00am
- Awards and presentations starting approximately 12:30-1:00pm
